The Art of Hosting

Hi! My name is Martine and 'Gourmandise by M' was born from my enduring passion for food, cooking and hosting parties for family and friends. After a long career in banking, I decided to pursue my dream of sharing my skills, experience and help you hosting the most memorable events in your own home and garden (weather permitting!).

Whether it's a birthday, communion, confirmation, anniversary, hen party or just a gathering of friends, I will work with you to create the event that will suit your needs (e.g. standing dinner, buffet, garden party, cocktail...).

If you have no events to celebrate, why not create one just for the craic ! Consider hosting a wine tasting event, cocktail master class or a colourist presentation. Any other idea can be discussed!

Our Concept

Choose from one of the following type of event:

-Standing dinner (Dinner served through appetizers and mini dishes)

-Cocktail (Appetizers followed by Buffet)

-Garden Party

-Buffet

All food will be pre-prepared in our own kitchen using organic, seasonal and if possible local ingredients, some sourced from our own greenhouse and raised beds. A few hours before the event, we will deliver and finish all food preparation in your kitchen, lay out tables, refill during the course of the day/evening and clear everything once the party is finished, leaving your house as we found it.

Additional Services

- Dinner table set up: rental of tablecloth, napkins, plates, cutlery, glasses, table decoration choosing one of the proposed decors depending on the season and your mood.

We can also use your own china, glasses and cutlery that are sitting in your cupboard and are only used at Christmas !

Why choose us ?

I am a small catering business mixing private chef and event management services and my wish is to make hosting events at home easy and enjoyable.

My goal is to remove all the stress involved in the preparation and during the event so you only keep the pleasure of hosting. Those events should be as casual as possible but still looking very refined.

I will work with you to create an individual event following your own requirements and wishes but leaving me some liberty to surprise you. No event will be the same!

Food

Originally from Belgium and living in Ireland for more than 16 years, my food is inspired from different cuisines: French, Belgian, Middle East, Irish, Mexican, American..

There will be a mix of those influences in my menus but you can also choose one specific theme.
