Gourmandise by M was created from my lifelong love of food, cooking, and bringing people together. After many years in the banking world, I chose to follow my true passion—sharing my skills and experience to help you host unforgettable gatherings in the comfort of your home or, when the weather allows, in your garden.

Our Philosophy

At Gourmandise by M, everything starts with a love for good food and good company. I believe the best meals are made with fresh, organic, and locally sourced ingredients—always homemade and always prepared with care.

My goal is simple: to help you host gatherings that feel warm, personal, and memorable. I take pride in crafting beautifully presented menus that cater to all dietary requirements, ensuring everyone can enjoy a delicious and personalized experience.

Presentation matters just as much, and I embrace a relaxed yet elegant farmhouse style for every display. Think handpicked pottery sourced from travels abroad, colourful tablecloths, soft linen napkins, and vintage finds—like mini glasses and tiny silver spoons discovered at auctions and antique shops. I also hold firmly to a no-plastic policy, using only reusable, beautiful pieces that bring a sense of authenticity and charm to the table.

Together, these little details create more than just a meal—they create an atmosphere you and your guests will remember.

Our Cuisine Style

I'm originally from Belgium, but Ireland has been home for more than 17 years—so my cooking reflects both roots and discoveries along the way. My food is inspired by the elegance of French and Belgian cuisine, the rich spices of the Middle East and the warmth of Irish cooking.  I often love to mix these influences for something unique and playful, but if you prefer, we can build your event around one clear theme—anything from a mezze-style feast to a French-inspired dinner party or a relaxed Mexican buffet.
